Greetings friends!

Whew. etree has gone through some changes over the years. From ftp and
home servers to bt and a strong iBiblio backbone, we've continued to be
the worldwide leader in legal lossless live music trading. But that
doesn't stop here. We want more. We want lots more...

That's where you come in. Recent changes in the DB and the lack of
changes in the home page have caught up to us. Lots of members have
asked to be involved in developing the next version of etree. We say,
you asked for it...

The etree Server Team is calling for serious developer volunteers to
step forward! We have five pages (sites) that we seek to update - the
home page, the DB, the BT, the wiki, and the forums. Any kind of coding
or programming is needed. If you're seriously interested in helping with
the upgrade, or have other new ideas for a next-generation etree, we
implore you to send us an email:

Your email will be responded to immediately (ASAP) with a password to
the private Developer's forum:

It is there you will find forums dedicated to the development of the
five mentioned etree pages. Serious inquiries only, and if you choose
not to participate, let us know so we can remove your access. Please
note - you must be registered and logged in to view this forum. We're
serious about this update. It's not a lurker forum.

Of course - this is all very grass roots. Don't expect to get a project
right away. We're sending this out as a "feeler," if you will.
Interested? Follow through with us to the forum and we'll get some sort
of structure organized there. Just let us know your interest...



Additionally - the email lists still exist! If you were lost in the
server move, please re-register your account. If you didn't know there
were email lists, please check them out!

On a more personal note - we ALL greatly appreciate the patience and
understanding as etree underwent our most recent hiccup. As with all
things volunteer, sometimes it takes a little longer to get things
together. etree members are the best. We sincerely appreciate your
continued support and dedication.
