I know it seems trivial, but how about posting a link to the
torrent's details page when asking for a reseed. Most people
just open the .torrent file and when they've given back their
100% share (wishful thinking?), they don't have the .torrent to
open back up for you. You'll get better results to your query
if people don't have to search for the .torrent file to share
their already existing completed torrent files.

I, for one, don't have time to search for every torrent that
needs help, even if I do have the files on my hard drive.

Tip of the day:
Bookmark the torrents you're active on so you can read the
comments later and ask for reseeds.
